Everyone who goes to Zimbabwe or Zambia wants to see the infamous Victoria Falls: to see "the smoke that thunders with their own eyes and feel the spray like rain on their skin. For me, this spot with the falls barely visible in the distance is mesmerizing. Perhaps its the tease, of knowing its there, and not fully being able to see its glory. Perhaps it is in the knowing that perhaps someone also stood at this exact place long ago, contemplating their smallness on this vast, beautiful planet, and knowing life is but a fleeting flicker of a moment.
